P1/2 Play Ground Project
Update 2019/20: A huge thank you to the Gallery of Modern Art for the kind donation of play equipment, to the Parent Council for fundraising to pay for the installation of the equipment (which required new playground surfacing) and to Justine Fernandez-Binns who has been instrumental in leading the project through to completion on behalf of the Parent Council.
Thank you for the fantastic new equipment now being enjoyed in the P1/2 playground and around the school!
Play Pod
We continue to promote play through the Loose Parts Play initiative, again, thank you to the Parent Council for supporting the purchase of the shipping container and to everyone who has donated items: old tyres, tarpaulins, ropes, crates, small world, fabric, pieces of carpet, pipes and guttering….the list is endless of items children can play with, as long as it doesn’t have sharp edges, please hand in any items through the school office, to the class teachers or via Mr Tamer, our Facilities Technician.
The Play & Move Group is up and running! For dates/details of the next planned meeting please contact the parent leading this exciting initiative, Simon Turner at:
