A group of P6 girls have been finding out about a local charity that supports people who have a chronic illness, the Thistle Foundation. They have discussed how much they would like to support the charity with their Parsy Reps in the Pupil Council who all agreed they would like to help. They have written a letter asking for your support:

Dear Parents, Pupils and Staff at Parsons Green,

Sarah, Haleema, Ailsa, Ayesha and Sara are planning a bake sale for the Thistle Foundation. The Thistle Foundation is a great place for supporting people with chronic health conditions. The Thistle lets them go to the gym, have tai-chi classes and just talk to people who have the same illnesses or similar illnesses and they have had to move recently to have their building done up. The Thistle believe that life is for living and that’s why they support people with disabilities and health conditions to live the life they want.

So please help us by bringing in some cakes and buying some cakes at break time on Thursday 19th May, any left over will be sold on Friday 20th May as well.
