The 21st Easter Gaitherin will take place from Monday 4 – Thursday 7 April at Tynecastle High School.  Young people aged 9-18 will have the opportunity to choose from a huge range of workshops led by professional music and drama tutors.

You do not need to be able to read music or have previous knowledge of traditional music to enjoy the Edinburgh Youth Gaitherin but if you are already a musician you can stretch yourself by choosing our advanced workshop options.  It is only £100 to sign up (and £85 for subsequent members of the same family) which covers 4 days of tuition, attendance at the tutor concert, performing at the participant concert on the Thursday evening and joining in the finale ceilidh.
