On Wednesday the 4th of March, Primary 3a visited the National Museum of Scotland to learn more about life in Ancient Egypt.

We took part in a workshop about “Death in Ancient Egypt” where we learned more about mummification and how we now know so much about this. We even got to handle real-life Egyptian artefacts that were over 2000 years old!

Here are some pictures of our trip. We have also written our own reports about the trip – I am super impressed with the final reports. Each and every P3a pupil put so much effort into them and they are fantastic pieces of writing. They are on display in our classroom for you to come and see
