Our PG team of Worm Experts helped to identify a few different types of worms at the RSPB BioBlitz day event on Saturday. Most interesting, and a little worrying, was the prevalence of the NZ flatworm, an invasive species that is taking over our more typical worms. If you find a New Zealand flat worm, it is best to get rid of it, the chickens at the Community Field were certainly enjoying them on Saturday! Thank you to everyone who turned out and to those who enjoyed other activities such as pond dipping, bee workshops, making ladybird homes and taking part in surveys we look foward to hearing all about it!
